These questions need to be answered at your first appointment –
- What have I done?
- What can I do about it?
- Can I continue to train?
- Should I ignore the pain?
Whether you have injured suddenly or have a worrying niggle that’s affecting your progress – let me check it out – someone experienced and trusted.
I personally understand the frustrations of injury and the fear of being unable to do what you love.
People fear that I will just say STOP – If you’re working to an event with an injury, we can modify your training. I can teach you to make the right decisions to support your recovery even outside the clinic.
One appointment to assess what has happened and guide you to recovery will save money, time and worry. An unguided Google Search can be dangerous.
I have done a ½ Ironman Triathlon, played tennis, horse riding (xcountry and flatwork), ski-ed, sailed catmarans and raced dinghies; do open water swimming, hillwalk, yoga, strength train, and pole fitness. I take to my hobbies full-on and set high goals. I understand.

Testimonial – Charlie Podilanski
Lindsey has got me in a position where I can train long weeks building towards the Ironman goal and keep progressing week on week without injuring.
A key part of the work we do is improving my running position as I have a cycling background. By opening my hips up and changing my running posture I now have the ability to run quicker off the bike.
Since having regular visits my performances in races and overall fitness has improved. I put my full trust in the process of Lindsey’s Extensive knowledge of physiotherapy and the results speak for themselves.
Lindsey’s response-
Charlie walked in on his first visit and he looked pale and exhausted. His sleep was really disrupted and we discussed strategies to address this. If you don’t have enough restful sleep you’re more likely to develop injuries and pick up viruses that will impact badly on training demands and consistency. I explained the power or rest for performance and suggested a power nap particularly when training 2 disciplines per day.
